So, a paradox of sorts. On the one hand, if Google Analytics is to be believed, absolutely nobody is reading these posts except me. Which is a drag but not altogether unexpected. On the other hand, I am fantastically happy writing these posts, as they give me the opportunity to write something on all sorts of books and all sorts of topics. In particular, I’m very happy with the discussion of strategic bombing and air power in my September post, and feel it’s right up there with the best things I’ve done here. So, a couple of things about last night’s Cards Against Humanity game: 1. Such an incredibly strong set of plays for that one. Even the random card (erectile dysfunction) wasn’t bad for being a random play. 2. Yeah, that was me, the only guy in the room who voted for Obama, playing “The violation of our most basic human rights.” For the win, if not what I believe to be the literal truth. 3. Why? Because it’s hilarious, that’s why.
