The End of All Things

So, this is going to sound a bit sudden to many of you, but as of somewhere in the middle of August, The Ravings of Demented Rabbits will be coming to an end. This blog and all its archives will be erased, and though this domain will live on, it will primarily exist so I can keep my email.

The reason for this rather unfortunate occurance is because, as of mid-September, I will be reporting for United States Army basic training, followed by about 6 months of AIT and a 3 year contract. That too is going to sound a bit sudden to a few of you, so by all means drop me an email or a text or something if you haven’t heard the story and I’ll be happy to tell you all about it. The long and the short of it, however, is that there’s about 15 years of my life on here and given what I’m going to be doing it’s probably best if that wasn’t the case.

While I’m extremely happy to be embarking on the adventure I am about to embark upon (let’s hear it for childhood dreams), I’ll be sad to see this place go. Its 12 years of operation have taught me many things, spurred my creativity, honed my voice, and given me a platform through which to tell stories, give advice, show shiny pictures, and entertain my friends. These things have all given me great joy, have hopefully given you at least a little of the same, and I will feel the lack.

It’s been a hell of a ride, but all good things must come to an end.
